Seig Surveying worked with MECCA-GC, LLC and Phoenix Construction to provide utility/infrastructure mapping, a site topography survey, and construction layout. This site was the old Connersville Ford plant that was shut down and is now NOVA Chemicals.
This job entailed utilizing unmanned aerial surveying methods to collect LiDAR data, and a clear orthomosaic of the job site to show existing conditions. This included investigating the whole site on ground to map all existing storm and sanitary infrastructure, and any other features that were not able to be collected from above. We also worked inside the 980,000 square foot building to lay out plumbing for the future NOVA Chemicals.
